About the role:

Taking the lead on devising intelligently planned, innovative paid media recommendations for a range of clients across different verticals and different budget levels

Working with the Head of Media & Client Service Directors to grow your client spends (and have some fun!)

Managing, mentoring & developing the Media Manager and Senior Planner / Planners in the team

To challenge clients & briefs (and yourself) to ensure mutually rewarding client relationships & that a first-class media output are delivered at all times

Media planning – across devices. The remit of the media team covers all paid media including paid social, display, video, partnerships, digital OOH, Digital Audio and programmatic (including Self-Serve) – across all connected devices*

Compiling of campaign reviews, recommendations, ideas however sensible or daft for future client activities – the ‘so what?’ and the ‘so what now?’ bits

To be on top of, and care about, the latest industry developments & technology in the market – to want to know each supplier’s offerings better than anyone else

To build an understanding of the other disciplines within the agency (PPC, SEO, Data & Analytics) to enhance your media planning and buying

To work with the other Account Directors in the team & Head of Media to input on the broader running of the team, processes, staff appraisals, training and anything else you can think of that will positively contribute to ensuring a happy, effective team

We are going through a period of evolution as we broaden our team’s skills to include programmatic and social API planning and buying. Increasingly we will be working with our Analytics team to become much more data-driven and are looking at having analysts assigned to each team. So there’s a lot of opportunities to make a mark on this front, as well as learn, grow and develop these skills which we think will make our people much more valuable in the future.

We were 55 people a year ago, we’re now starting 2018 with 70 people and are continuing to grow. As a growing and dynamic business, things don’t stay the same for long.
